HOOK/CHORUS Mother Natures crying -She’s just so sad and blue Her tears just keep on falling -Look what we’ve put her through Time and time again we’ve seen the writing on the wall Nothing can be sadder than to watch her tears fall Verse 1 Question, What’s going on in this world that we live in-Too much taking and not enough giving Mother nature keeps on crying -She’s kind of sad cause the planet keeps dying I’m telling ya... If I were the king of the world-I would make a better place for the boys and girls I would clean up, all of the pollution-If we work together we can find the solution It’s a perfect time, to make this world a better place-Kids from all around the world standing for the human race Europe to Japan, and on the Africa-In the middle east and back to America Kids everywhere, trying to save the earth -Let's clean it up, but first things first Now’s the time, we gotta do it quick-We gotta make a change, cause the planet’s getting sick Verse 2 Listen, We gotta save the earth, before it gets worse-Doing everything that I can, that’s the plan I’m going to take a trip all around the nation -And spread the word, from station to station Thinking about the situation, that’s my mission -Say it through my song’s, and maybe they will listen Mother Natures begging us to do this, to make a change to this-It’s been 30 years I thought you knew this The truth is, Its getting hotter every year -And there’s a great big hole up in the atmosphere And everybody’s talking about the ozone-With more hurricanes, more hot days and the cyclones I’m not worried, cause I know we can fix it-My generation comes with no gimmicks The plan we got now, I think its been failing-'Cause each and every day, the ice keeps melting Verse 3 If your not making a difference then back on up-We got one last chance so I’m cleaning it up The planet is a beautiful place but it’s wasted -Smog so thick that sometimes I can taste it You ever seen a full moon shining on December-The way the soft snow falls down in the winter You ever seen a picture of the Himalayas-The deep blue seas and the beaches in Jamaica You ever seen the sky on a dark summer nights-It’s like a million stars my lil' brothers said it’s tight These are the things and the days that I cherish-We gotta make a change so these days won’t perish © 2007 CAH/AMICAH Music, lyrics by Lil Peppi & C.
